We are an
offroad club based in Prince George,
BC, Canada!
We are a group of people that get
together and experience offroading in the backwoods of the area. Putting
together our individual ideas and resources enables us to experience many
different places around the northern part of our province. Our similar passions
lead us to the formation of what is now know as the North Caribou Offroad
Adventurers Society (NCOAS), registered in 1998 with the Province of BC.
Group members all have different views and concerns in the sport of offroading,
but in all we care about the
environment and all agree to go offroad in places where we won't be affecting
others enjoyment of the outdoors.
NCOAS members do venture into some very rugged terrain. Some members are
interested in radical offroading, and in doing so expect damage of some sort to
happen. Others are interested in watching from the side of the trail. Most are
somewhere in the middle, using their vehicles to get to work and for the
occasional weekend getting to where other 4X4’s fear to tread. For the faint at
heart, yes, we do get scratches, dents, and such. It’s all a part of the sport.
Check out our forum for trip schedules,
offroading discussions, tech discussions, and items for sale.
